Maschke's Theorem

Let $G$ be a finite group and $k$ a field with $\mathrm{char}(k) \nmid |G|$. Then every representation (Group Representation) of $G$ over $k$ is completely reducible, i.e.\ decomposes into irreducibles (Irreducible Representation).
